Hobbit Mountain Soundtrack?

Loved the film, loved the soundtrack even more.

Although, i cant seem to find the piece of music that plays when they are walking along the ridge of a mountain, It's an airial shot, clear weather (Know the bit i mean)

I Can't seem to identify it from the previews itunes offered, would be glad if someone could tell me!

What did you all think of the music?

Can't really help you about the song name, but I really enjoyed the film's soundtrack. I mostly listen to video game soundtracks, so it isn't too strange that I would get into a good film score. When I told my family how much I liked the soundtrack, one of them responded "there were only like two songs that were sung in the whole film!" Some of them didn't notice the whole rest of the soundtrack I guess. I'm definitely looking forward to the soundtracks for the rest of the films though.

Is this the one? I've seen the film twice (no, I don't have a life) so I'm pretty sure the part of the film you mention corresponds to the music in the first minute or so of this video.


I'm not sure if there is a longer version though. I'd sure like to find it if there is.

Overall I thought the music was excellent. Some great new stuff and a recognisable and suitably bombastic main theme, but with some pieces from LotR mixed in as well, which really help link the universe to the other films and give you a sense of place.

WAIT!

I found a better one! It has the dwarves singing at the start, but the main theme continues for longer than a minute before it shifts o a different theme
