What was the worst holiday you ever went on?
Mine was at the start of my holiday and was the end to it.
I was going on a school trip to France with some fellow classmates.
I had seven hours until I had to go to school to meet up with my friends to take the bus to the airport. I was completely ready for it until I realised I was missing my passport. :D
Spent about six hours looking for it with my family but never did and they wouldn't give me a refund (wasted six hundred euros).
Two days later I found the passport in a shelf that I went through twice. XD

Well, a couple of years ago, I took a week long trip to Chicago.

I got sick on day two, and it was hell. It hurt to swallow, my fever was bad, I had zero energy, and eating was nigh impossible.

And I still had to go around with my family. Never. Again. Shall I go. To. Chicago.

My worst holiday involved a girl I was in love with who already had a boyfriend who didnt come with us. She fell for another guy when we were there.

Sorry to hear that how long were you there.
To be truthful I'm glad I didn't go to France (I have nothing against France, I just don't like to travel by plane), the only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't get a refund :)
All my friends got sick from eating bad chicken and something else bad happened that I think I shouldn't mention..... :|
But I just look back and laugh when I remember it. :)

Not really a holiday but, a few years ago I went camping with a group of friends, was going great for the first two days, eating around camp fires out in the forest, having a great time.
Then, pretty much over night almost all of us got a nasty stomach bug, from the water I think, after that it was decidedly less fun and we returned two days earlier than planned.

My french class from America whent to Paris. I ditched and took some guys with me. Met some friends I had in France and we drank till we were shit faced. My school was not pleased. What do they expect, I'm European, asking me to go to a huge city and not having fun is crazy

My dad once stuck me on a train in the South of France, after which I was supposed to catch another train and a bus, and then board a plane to England. Unfortunately I missed my flight and was stuck in the middle of France with a phone that did not work abroad, and very little knowledge of the French language. On top of this, my step-father was driving to meet me at Heathrow at the other end. I was 16 or 17. Anyway, I walked around for a long time in the rain, unable to find a phone box, and thought it would be a good idea to try walking down the middle of the motorway towards Toulouse in order to find one.

I gave up after the section dividing the two halves of the carriageway dwindled into nothing, and headed back to some sort of hotel, where I met some French fellows who let me use their mobile. I phoned Dad, and by this time it was over 2 hours since I had missed my flight. He didn't believe me at first that I had missed the flight, but I convinced him eventually and he agreed to come and collect me, although I was unsure exactly whereabouts I was in relation to the airport. The only car he had, also, was a 50s landrover which was completely fucked.

After I got off the phone to him, the guys whose phone I had used made several prank calls to his phone (laughing, then hanging up), so he ended up calling the police before setting off, as he thought I may have been raped or something.

Anyway, by the time he had made the hour-and-a-half drive to where I was (he had difficulty finding me, and had the right 'ump that I wasn't where he had thought I would be) his car had pretty much given up and we had to traipse around in the rain for ages trying to find somewhere to stay. That was 100 quid extra for a hotel for the night, and my dad was not happy with me (as if it was my fault).

My mum was pretty angry with my dad, though, and told him she never wanted to see his face again after leaving me to make my way home from france on my own. As she kept putting it, 'George can't even get a bus by herself, let alone a bus, two trains and a plane'.

Thanks, mum.
Why did your dad made you go home by yourself if he could have drove to the airport for you.
No offense but he sounds like a jerk.

None taken, he is a jerk :)

To be fair, though, his car is ancient, and he said he didn't think it would be able to make it to the airport. Obviously he had to make the journey there in the end anyway, to come and pick me up after I missed the flight.
How did he know that his car wouldn't make a hour and a half drive? The car is that old?
But still, it's a bit extreme to make someone take 2 trains and a bus to get to somewhere that
would take a rather short drive. :|

You don't want to know... It's funny but some people will find it sick. Please don't get me banned :(
{I can't say something like this on a thread or I'll get banned. If you really want to know then ask me to send a message :) }

School trip to France. After a days trip by coach from near London to Dover threw the Euro Tunel to some place in the middle of france. We were expecting a great hotel with 2 people to a room. Turns out the hotel they booked was wronge. It then turned into 4 people in a box. I mean the bloody shower room was the same size as the sleeping area.

I didn't do anything too bad because well to put it short my friend did worse durring the trip that my minor stuff just seams pointless. 1st friend when he had had a shower he had just chucked his towel in the air and it had caught on top of the cheap ass heater. None of us knew anything had happened untill smoke started to float out of the room. We told the teachers their was a fire outside, but it didn't work. 2nd (He's thick as a wall) was felling ill, but wanted chocolate milk. Next thing we know he's given the walls a new coat. 3rd friend (very slightly drunk) jumped from the bunk bed braking it and turning it into a single. He spent the next 2 weeks on the cold tilled floor :).

It wasn't us, but in one of the other rooms for the girls, their toilet broke. After one of them had taken a dump it had plugged it up and started to flood. Then it craked and fell appart because it looked like it was crafted out of card. Thank god they weren't above us and were below or we could have has it dripping through the roof.

Note to people: Cockroches are attacked to crisps. We left some on the floor one night and found them on the floor running around in the morning.
