The LA Times [http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/movies/la-fi-ct-moviegames-20100615,0,2639964.story] reports that 15 tie-in games were released in 2009, versus the eleven scheduled for 2001.
I take it you meant to say 2011, right?

At what point do I start getting paid for editing everyone in this site's articles?
Actually, he probably meant 2010, otherwise the comparison to 2009 makes no sense.

I now demand you send me any money you may receive.
I assumed that he was making a comparison of a year that that they had full data on to an upcoming year's scheduled releases. However, I think you're right.

I think that we can all agree that this site's editor either can't read or just doesn't bother to.
However, I think we can all agree that it was probably just a small mistake and it's not worth making a fuss over.

Sure. If you overlook the fact that half of the articles on this site have little problems like that, then it is a very minor problem.

So they've realised that GOOD games sell. Finally the publishers shouldn't be the last to figure that out.
I'm willing to contest that idea. Bad games will always be made.

All I can say is thank the Gods // It my one pet peeve with it comes to new movies coming out, there is a change that it will have a game tie-in coming out at the same time // These games are never any good, they are always rushed and far to short for the $60 they will cost

Now movies based off games, that's something we can all enjoy . . . =/

Maybe, just maybe casual gamers now understand quality given the decline in sales for rubbish.

Yup, glad they were finally honest about it.
Fixed that for you.

Wait a second. They are just now realizing low quality games are unprofitable. I wanna be pissed with them but dammit we gamers are the ones buying this crap. We were making it profitable. We suck!

But people won't always buy them.

Now if only we can get them to stop making movies of video games, things will be perfect.

Or if that's too much to ask for, then I'd settle for getting them to stop getting Uwe Boll to make movies of video games.

I'm willing to contest that too. Buying a game is always a gamble, I REALLY wanted jade empire and as a bioware game it sounded like it was going to be amazing. ?65 for the special addition and several boring, BORING hours later I was ready to hop on a plane and cock punch everyone involved.

OH NO! What are we going to do now without these games? /sarcasm

Good riddens i say, pretty much ALL movie games are completely rubbish and over priced.
