That's when my jaw hit the floor. "Wtf?" I said. He said "Yeah, I told her you were a virgin in conversation, not meaning anything by it". The phone conversation went on, and then he said "So yeah, she's said that because your a virgin, she's willing to show you the ropes. Everyone is nervous on their first time, but she's gonna guide you through it. That way, when you come to have sex with someone you really love, you won't be as nervous."

I am gob smacked. I honestly don't know what to say. Apparently, she's not a slut but has some experience.
What would you do in my situation? I'm 16 by the way.

Interesting predicament there. I say don't do it. Because you said "a little too flirty"...that raises suspisicion, know what I mean? If you think that you should wear a rubber, you shouldn't be doing it in the first place. By the way, I recommend wearing a rubber even if you trust the person, you never know...just saying, that if you think that is absolutely necessary, then you shouldn't. Also, once you get with someone you love, then you will learn together. Sex may have some common things that most people enjoy but there's not enough to warrant "general training", especially because there are websites that feature this info. So, in short, wait until you get with someone you love, ask them what they like and stick with that. If you try something else that gets a better reaction, keep it in. The best way to learn how to pleasure a person is to ask and focus on that person's body while your trying. I was 20 when I first had sex and am only 23 now and haven't really had that many partners but, by focusing on my partner first and myself second, I've...well, let's say I've received good reviews. My wife just wanted me to add in "very good reviews".

Personally? Experience is overrated. Sex is incomplete unless it's with someone you love. I say screw experience: if your first time isn't with someone you truly love and are undyingly committed to, you'll come to regret it. No matter how inexperienced you are, if you love the person, that's what will make your first time great.

Well then it all really depends on how desperate you are to have sex. Some of my friends were so desperate they did it with any girl who would, I did with my girlfriend of 2 years, another friend of mine is considering going to Amsterdam to find a prostitute. I doubt anyone is in a position to judge you for whatever you choose to do, but most people would kill to be in your position.

If I lived close to Amsterdam I would do it, but since prostitution is illegal here in the USA I think I will refrain from hookers.

The sensible answer is no, but you're a teenager veering towards adulthood. There's nothing wrong with experimenting at sixteen (especially with all those hormones flying about the place). I lost mine when I was a little bit too young, and I wished I'd waited as I was hugely embarrassed, but that's just a barrier I needed to get through.

I say at least meet the girl with your friend in a public place, nothing too fancy, and just have a chat first.

But seriously though, OP, I agree with this. I you want to have sex with this chick there's no one but yourself to say you can't. I personally would probably not have done it though, I waited for the "right girl" instead but that's just who I am. It's all about if you can handle your sexual frustration or if you really need to have sex at the moment.

First off, why does it seem that everyone (at least from my perspective, feel free to correct me)is in a hurry to lose their virginity? I mean, I'm 20 and I haven't gone beyond frist base.

As for your situation, it's up to you. I personally wouldn't do it, but that's just me. If you do go through with it though, make sure you follow the advice BonsaiK gave you.
