Okay, correct me if I'm wrong here, because this very well maybe be the glass of brandy I have talking.

And consider this minor spoilers

During the quest Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, early on you enter the ball room and a speaker announces your title(Inquisitor X, Y or Z) as well as your chosen companions.

Cassandra has an odd one(please keep in mind as 80th+ in line for the throne, she is technically a Princess. I even think Sera calls her that from time to time.):

Oddly specific, right?

....

Remember Dot's full name?

Now they aren't the exact same, but I'm pretty sure its supposed to be some sort of joke or reference.
I mean Princess Cassandra Allegra Portia Calogera Filomena Pentaghast vs. Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca the Third

I dunno...anyone else see it?

No more so than I see it as referencing Ulla Inga Hansen-Bensen-Janson-Tallen-Hallen-Svaden-Swanson of the Producers, Leeloo Minai Lekarariba-Laminai-Tchai Ekbat De Sebat of the Fifth Element (aka "Leeloo Dallas Multipass"), Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraimsdaughter Longstocking of Pippi Longstocking, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore of Harry Potter, or you know...this guy.

I loved the mission titled "Hinterland Who's Who", but not because of the old TV shorts in Canada. Never saw those. I loved it because I was reminded of the parody video on YouTube.

Building webs was for suckas...

LOL, I love "multipass". That brightened my day. Oh Leeloo, you're so silly, and hot.

As for the reference, I am pretty sure if it is supposed to be a reference, they would have made the name exact.

Personally I think it's a Monty Python reference to one of the candidates in the Election Night Special sketch, specifically a man by the name of:

Malcolm Peter Brian Telescope Adrian Umbrella Stand Jasper Wednesday (pops mouth twice) Stoatgobbler John Raw Vegetable (whinnying) Arthur Norman Michael (blows squeaker) Featherstone Smith (whistle) Northcott Edwards Harris (fires pistol, then 'whoop') Mason (chuff-chuff-chuff-chuff) Frampton Jones Fruitbat Gilbert (sings) 'We'll keep a welcome in the' (three shots) Williams If I Could Walk That Way Jenkin (squeaker) Tiger-drawers Pratt Thompson (sings) 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' Darcy Carter (horn) Pussycat (sings) 'Don't Sleep In The Subway' Barton Mainwaring (hoot, 'whoop') Smith

But that's just my interpretation. :p

On a more serious note, my favorite reference in the game is a book you can find that tells a story about how a mage fought off a demon army of zombies by weaving a spell that brought her vegetable garden to life to fight back the undead. Sounds like another EA game, I think...
