Homefront...Come on!!

I recently finished Homefront (I was annoyed and disappointed even before I could start shooting crap). I've played and seen games and movies with gripping and dramatic scenes that touched me. HF is trying too hard. When I saw all the massacres and needless violence, I didn't think:"Wow, this could actually happen." I was thinking:"Why is a 1st world army, that isn't cloned from Hitler and Stalin's egg, needlessly kill civilians without any reason, besides being evil.

The game's drama FAILED. I hope ZP rips on this with more d*ck jokes.

I finished Homefront sort of recently too. I was also disappointed. Yes they tried too hard, yes they rushed through the plot (not much of a plot anyways), and yes it wasn't that original. The combat was also sort of subpar because it comprised of hiding behind cover then popping up and shooting enemies until their "thinned out" so you can run somewhere and hit some button or something without dying. You also regenerate your health way too quickly, probably because you'll get shot a LOT because of the enemies' auto-aim. Your sleeve could be sticking out of cover and they would be sniping that. Another problem is that there are unlimited enemies in many sections of the game so you're forced to run through enemy fire often. You also rely on Goliath way too much to the point that it's almost a character on its own. As for the drama, it's overplayed and I had a difficult time actually feeling anything for any of the characters. In my opinion, the coolest part of the game is the intro cinematic...

yeah I really had high hopes for this game....I may get if the price goes waaaaaaaaayy down
