Homeworld 3 In The Works?

I think for this to be good they have to go back and deal with some of the 100 years they skipped in between the first two games, and answer for us whether or not Cataclysm is canon or not (either way is fine with me really, but get rid of the damn energy cannons, those broke the balance)

I own 3 copies of homeworld

A pirate copy a friend gave me as he hated the game

The original release and as the disc was a little worn the cheep re-release a few years on

I own Cata and Homeworld 2

....I loved the orginal, I will always tell people to play it as the atmosphere is fantastic, anyone who can get to the last mission and not feel anything is a stone. I actually felt something when I destroyed the 1st fleet that attacked the homeworld, and the last, silent, mission creeped me out.

Cata was nice, it had a good story few week points but OK overall

HW2 had one major flaw....you could play from the map, and pretty much had to IMHO - as such it became a frantic battle of dots, the words 'frigate lost' and little blue and red dots hunted my dreams....it was a ***** of a game, and because I didn't get the graphics and immersion it lost a lot of its affect I fear.

For those of who love HomeWorld and always wanted to mod for HomeWorld but could never afford Maya or Photoshop your prayers have been answered as you can now mod for HomeWorld using Gimp that has .dds integrated export/import functions as well as Sketch Up now being able to export your models into wavefront.obj format with a simple plug-in.
