Honor of Kings World is another one of those high-fidelity mobile meets PC MMO action games, where players get to play a variety of iconic characters, explore massive open worlds, and take part in PvE events on the map or in dungeons and other instanced combat. While the game is out in Asia, the global version is still in the works, with translations, content additions, and other general things still coming. We got a chance to play the global version, getting an idea of how the game is shaping up for Western fans, particularly those who have played the global version of the Honor of Kings MOBA, which is also the world’s biggest esport.

To no one’s surprise, Honor of Kings World is similar to Where Winds Meet in its gameplay style, which to be fair, draws heavily from Zelda’s most recent titles. The world is packed with regions, each with its own completionism hooks. These areas have random activities ranging from fighting bandits to uncovering chests, secret dungeons, and other encounters scattered around. The map also reveals itself as you progress, unlocking even more areas and rewarding you with currencies and other goodies along the way.
