Hooking 360 upto a pc with a wireless connection

Here's the deal i have a 360 and pc in my room and the pc has a wireless connection the modem in the other room but i want to use an ethernet cable to hook up my 360 to my comp and use the pc's connection is it possible or am i gonna have to bite the bullet and get a wireless adapter for the 360?

I stick an ethernet cable in my 360 and put the other end in my wireless router.
