There was no winter where I live, just fall to spring. The spring flowers are even starting to bloom already, which is bad because my city is supposed to host the winter olympics which you cant really do without snow. They're having to truck snow in from the interior and from higher up on the mountains so there snow in the event areas.

I am genetically derived from Vikings and the other peoples that lived in northern Europe, I think the farthest south my ancestors got was northern France. I do not feel cold and wear shorts all year round, however, heat is my mortal enemy.

Washington (state) valley area, it rarely ever snows here. The worst snow storm we've gotten in past years was a last winter where that big front blanketed all the way down to Vegas.

I live in Northern Norway for the time being, and even though the rest of the country has been covered with snow since December, the cover has been somewhat sparse up here. However, we had a good bit of snow during the weekend, so I'll take my chances skiing tomorrow. And I don't really like skiing, and I don't really like winter, either. I don't mind the cold, it's just that things are so slippery, and I have a tendency to fall and twist my ancle. Once it's happened once, it seems as if it's weakened, so that it's easier to twist the next time around, so I'm pretty much limping till the snow has left the ground in early May.
