To be fair, she was created by an AI, which was in turn created by the Old World humans. Maybe it was aware that Aloy would be frequently subjected to copious amounts of sweating in a world void of air conditioning. So really, they come in pretty handy.
It's not just how thick they are though, I have a pet peeve about eyebrows not matching a character's hair color. It bothers me more than it should but there it is.

This is officially the pettiest complaint about a game ive ever seen.
????????????????????????? I don't care about this game. The main character could check off all of my check boxes of what I find attractive and I still wouldn't be interested in this game. This is me talking about aesthetics I don't like, not condemning an entire game for them.
You criticized the eyebrows not matching dude. I dont care if you arent interested in the game. I was razzing you for the silliest criticism i have ever seen in my life.
Why is stating something I dislike considered criticism? I don't like the vast majority of rap or country music but I don't think that means they're objectively bad, plenty of people like those kinds of music. If you get worked up over every little thing someone says then you're going to have a rough time in life.
Any comment positive or negative is criticism. It was a joke why are you so defensive about it? Sorry you took it personal.
I think it's just the vagaries of the written word compared to in person vocal communication.
I don't get what's going on with Jim these days. They complain about NFTbros making NFTs of Jpegs from the Jimquisition and profiting on their brand without their approval. And they sell unlicensed Pokemon merch on their store.
They complain about "THE GAMERS" obsessing over Tracer's ass in Overwatch art and how pathetic it is to be concerned with the attractiveness of video game pixels. And they co-wrote an entire book centered solely on video game character's ass, and on the Podquisition mentioned the first thing they did when they got a VR headset was jerk it to some Bioshock Infinite porn.
Like is this some LGBTQXYZ= thing I don't get, where everything you did before coming out doesn't count. Tabula rasa shit and all? 'cause Jim has been throwing a lot of rocks for someone with such a shiny, see-through house.
What's not to get? They are just pointing out how hypocritical jackass people will complain and obsess over a fictional woman, yet ignore the plights of real women and those that are harassed and abused in the industry. Abuse that goes on every day. Sterling is not wrong. Whatever disagreement you have with them, fine whatever, but this is nothing new. Tracer, Abby, and now Alloy, are the next obsession of people with nothing better to do with their lives or never met a real woman in their entire life. They piss and moan, because these fictional characters fail to meet their unrealistic and overly high, narrow, expectations.
If you get it, (which you should, because I know you better), and if you don't, then you don't. I'm not going to drag this too far off topic or derail the thread. If you want to continue this discussion, I'll post the video in the game articles thread.

No no, Im not saying harassment is the same as passion. Im just saying its pretty weird for Jim Sterling of ALL people to call "THE GAMERS" pathetic weird boys for being concerned with video game asses, when they are a contributing author to an entire book solely about video game asses.

This is not even a first time he's used the terms "THE GAMERS tm" as an insult to loudmouth jerk offs. The same set of GAMERS that claim they represent, be all, and are the true words of all things gaming. All I'm seeing is Sterling taking their words and throwing it as an insult, right back at them. Nothing new here.

I honestly hadn't heard much about Horizon 2. I kinda forgot is was supposed to come out soon, or figured it had been delayed.
There's not really a contradiction there. NFTs are a scam, whereas selling physical merchandise for a stated price (licensed or not) is not. And if something negatively impacts the bottom line of a small independent content creator, it's rather more difficult to justify than impacting the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar corporation.
They've never had a problem with finding game characters attractive/ sexy.
Complaining because a video game character isn't sexy is a very different thing, and yeah, is slightly pathetic. Especially when it turns into a week-long culture war about how games are being wokified.
