You know, I've been meaning to play this game again, I think I will play the super stable version on my PS4. CONSOLE PEASANTS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there for the Dark Soul port, where you pretty much couldn't play without an unofficial patch
I have a GTX 980, which is now several generations old and the game works reasonably well on medium settings.
I did had some problems after a windows update a couple days ago, but then i switched some configurations stuff manually, most notably resolution from borderless to fullscreen and it worked again.
As for ports, i have seen far worse. It is playable and enjoyable for me atm. But i have read that results might vary a lot depending on setup.

Red Dead Redemption had a glitch when it first launched that caused models and rigs to be mixed up, leading to hilarious results.
Considering the kind of animals in Horizon, that could get horrifying really quick.

Damn that sucks.
I don't much on PC I only have my functional enough laptop but I get excited when game get to PC cause the love for it spreads.
Horizon Zero Dawn was my shit and it sucks when a port is that visually bad. I can't pay much attention to the difference in FPS I will be honest but visual and overall broken shit I can not have.

Oh, I've heard of that. I actually thought of that off the bat when I heard "Goat Woman" but since we were talking HZD didn't get the reference.
I heard the Donkey woman even got a cameo in RDR2 as a wierd location easter egg.
Yeah my memory just short circuited there. To be fair though, there were a lot of animal people in that glitch so I wouldn't be surprised if there were goat people.
