Something I inherited off my mother are my spiritual beliefs and the following of my star sign.
Are any of you guys like this at all?
What is your star sign? And if you've read the decription, does it describe you?

I'm a Pisces, who are supposedly creative, imagnative, senstive, gullible, prone to day dreaming and living in their own world which explains me pretty well.

So how about you guys? Do you believe in your horoscopes, or do you think they're a load of rubbish?

I too, am a Pisces, and that describes me fairly well (especially the "psychic" part), except for certain parts (like I'm gullible and sensitive, and laugh at the though of me not likeing violent activities).

I love people who believe in astrology. One of the first things they ask when talking to you for the first time is, "What's your star sign?"

My response: "Guess"

So far, I've had none who have managed to guess my starsign with one guess and several who have had to go through the whole horrorscope before hitting the right one.

I don't do this type of thing, but for curiousity's sake, I am Pisces also.
The reading that the site that you listed is not entirely accurate for who I am, but most of the positive traits do apply to me. The career one is probably the one that is most off.

I don't follow it, as I cannot believe that everyone born within a month's range will have similar personalities. Horoscopes were invented years ago by people who didn't have science to explain explainable occurences.

I'm a Capricorn (Goat) here, and I've don't really believe in any of it (due to good old science, and the rigorous testing/speculating at horoscopes written by hundreds other people in papers/on teh interwebz during mild moments of boredom).
Not many bits really fit me either, and most wouldn't fit my father's personality too (who is also a Capricorn), especially as I'm a procrastinator through and through.

Sure sometimes the horoscope fits your day, but thats because 95% of the time they're so generic they could fit anyone's day in some form or another.

Besides, I hate being a goat.

well actual star signs do hold a bit of truth. the stuff you see int he papers is wrong, it's not based on actual star positions rather a fixed movement.

they aren't 100% accurate as you pick up stuff from parents and friends and lovers but there is something to it. seen too many things to not think there's something going on

I read them for jokes when I am bored. They are normally hit or miss when it comes to describing your personality and all that crap.

The description they gave on that site OP posted was eh...50/50 i guess? I'm a Leo by the way.

I never followed it, but the description for Taurus described me pretty well. I'm, supposedly, romantic, artistic, organized, sensuous and appreciative, but I'm also cursed with being stubborn, jealous, self-righteous, and dogmatic. Describes me pretty well, I must say.

i'll read my horoscope (i'm a cancer) should the opportunity arises but i don't take them seriously. they're so vague that sooner or later something will happen along the lines of what they said. even if it says 'you will come into some money' then when you find 5p under the sofa the horoscope was right.

Well, since the star signs (or constellations as they are known as) are products of the human imagination and desire to see shapes in things (called pareidolia) they have no influence on us. Besides all the constellations have moved a sign in the approximately 4000 years since the constellations as we known them now where created (I can't remember which way though) add to this the fact that there is actually 13 constellations that the planets and sun passes through, and which the astrologers doesn't use.

I consider, and I mean this in the kindest way possible, astrology to be nothing but horseshit and a waste of good paper/electricity.

If it should for some obscure reason prove to hold a grip on the truth. I'd be more worried about how radiation from the cold dark recesses of space apparently shape the person that you are.
