my favorite pen and paper horror RPG of all times is about childhood horrors and how mundane evils of the adult world is transformed into monsters and boogie men as children tries to cope with and understand these evils in a way they can handle, or in the worst case, die trying.
it touches incredibly dark subjects such as child abuse and kidnappings, and it makes for a really deep and awesome rpg experience.
horror from a childs perspective is a very powerfu subject that I think can be really great in a game, as long as they also manage to create som nice gameplay to go along with the concept.
