I actually love Hot Topic. Beats the shit out of every other clothing store in the mall, that's for sure.

I've never actually been inside a Hot Topic since I've never seen one up here. But it sounds like a good store.

I have nothing against Hot Topic or its employees (customers are a different matter). For about three years I always walked out with a new shirt. Then they got rid of the section that i bought from and i stopped buying from them. So my feeling is indifferent.

My friends buy all of their band shirts from it. My friends like bands that I do... that makes Hot Topic generally acceptable in my book. The reason that I don't go there... ever... is because I really *really* don't like malls. At all.

I used to like hot topic it had usually at least a few cool band shirts and that little nerdy section. Now it just annoys me. All I see is this fred guy and a bunch of stupid memes that went out of style years ago. Plus they had a slim fit sublime t-shirt. When the hell did sublime fans start going for the slim fit look. Plus a store that is supposedly dedicated to metal and rock and whatnot has a wall devoted to lil wayne.

I dont know I dont hate the place I just dislike it. It serves it purpose because I can usually go online and find something that I like but the store itself annoys me. Plus I can only take so much screamo before my ears jump off my head and hide in the bathroom.

Meh. They have some decent stuff (couple sketchbooks, wristbands, Invader Zim stuff, stickers...). I try not to go in there as much since the Twilight section ate an entire f%(&^$# section of the store. That and their selection of messenger bags and journals has been lacking recently.

I like Hot Topic for the shirts and cheap CDs. Hell, I bought a deluxe-edition Dimmu Borgir CD for $8 cheaper than all the other stores.

And one of the workers at the Hot Topic at our mall is a totally rad dude. He looks like he'd be in the middle of an 80's era Slayer concert mosh.

I buy everything at ThinkGeek, Target, Barnes and Noble, Gamestop, other interweb sites, and Stater Brothers. No exceptions... I'm pretty distant from all of the cultures of this day and age. I'm gonna go with the cliche and say that I'm an individual.

I've got nothing against Hot Topic or your stereotypical generic "emos". Hell, they are better in my eyes then what you might as well call "normals". Y'know, the people who go to your school or university, play sports, say shit like "bro" all the time and everything. Fuck, I'll have the most stereotypical whiny emo over that any time.

Although I don't think I've ever seen a Hot Topic store here in Toronto (Canada, for those geographically impaired). I can't say that I'm completely sure because I'm not a big fan of malls in general - I don't mind going there for shopping if I really have to, which is rare - and otherwise, small quiet book and record shops are fun.
I...I think I agree with you. Dammit. Now I'm going to feel like a douche every time I troll emo kids.

Then again, there's always Twilight fans...

I saw a few cool T-Shirts there when I was at the mall with my friends. Don't really care for the store all that much though.
