Hotel Mishap Anyone?

Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone had any funny/interesting stories about their stay at a hotel?
Like any mix-ups at the desk or anything in general?

When I was in Scotland I got eaten alive by bed bugs or something. Nothing really funny sorry.

Once I took a walk around the hotel I was staying at at night and a bunch of drunk college kids who were there for spring break (probably) were drinking cheap vodka and riding mattresses down stairs. It was pretty awesome.

Another time my family and I found a discarded beach ball at the side of an indoor pool at a hotel and used it while we were in it. When we were done, another family was coming in, so we gave it to them to use. We came back the next day and families were still sharing it. It was nice.

Driving home from Seattle, stopped at a hotel in Montana. There just happened to be a rodeo right next to the hotel....that lasted most of the night. So much for sleeping during a road trip.

When me and my friend went on a ski trip to austria with my school, my friend hurt his leg so he slept in while we went skiing, when he woke up his bed was made under him when it was a complete mess when I seen it.

I played on a travel baseball team when i was 16-17..

2 stories stand out.

Story A: We were 4 people to a room, but somehow my room was designated "THE ROOM", and the entire team wound up in there. We had this massive wrestling battle royale, where people were being picked up and thrown into walls, and onto tables and stuff. There were some complaints from other patrons .. Turned out there was a second team at the hotel, too, and THEY went streaking through the halls naked, but WE got blamed and were kicked out at 3 in the morning. Wound up at the hotel next door

Story B: Our team brought in 2 ringers for one season.. They were from a different town and were VERY good, but much more "mature" players..I was the most likeable member of the team, so i was the one assigned (along with the coach's son) to stay in a room with the Ringers.. Now apparently i'm appealing to the ladies, cause the Ringers decided to take me out with them to the bar next to the hotel to try to pick some ladies up.. They managed to pick up 2 waitresses...And brought them back to our room..

The ringers were begging the coach's son and i to leave the room so that they could have some fun, but the coach's son refused. Not sure why. The ringers wound up paying us 100 bucks to leave the room.

Coach's son and i took a walk down to the corner store to get a bottle of pop, and we took our time coming back.. About 20 minutes went by.. We sat outside the door to the hotel just waiting.. Finally the ladies came out. Not sure why i felt compelled to do this, but i walked them back to their car. (Seemed the gentlemanly thing to do.)

Not sure what to say, i asked "so how was it?" The one girl looked back at the room, and then looked at me and said "it was shit. I really thought you were going to be involved." Then she got in her car and drove away.

Gotta say i that was good for my still-developing self-esteem

If i knew then what i know now about life the universe and women, i would've jumped in that car and gone to have a 3-some though sloppy seconds is kind of a turn-off....

Not really funny but down right creepy. I Was staying in a hotel in Derry, for my aunt's wedding, the reception was at the hotel and the guests stayed over.

"Now in the room I was staying in there was a bust on the desk in front of my bed. Now the bust was stuck onto the table, so it couldn't be moved or tampered with in anyway".

(So with that in mind let me finsh my story.)

"So the bust's head is facing left however when I got up to go to the bathroom, during the night, I noticed the head had changed to the right direction". I thought to myself "I must just be seeing things", due to how tired I was.

However when I woke up the next morning the bust's head was looking right at me.

Does anyone having any explainations to this?

Note: A bust is a small statue which only shows the head to the shoulders.

In a hotel in London there was a cockroach in the bathroom...

In London You'd expect it more somewhere like Spain or the really sunny places, not London! xD

We also managed to get onto the roof by climbing out of our window, until a fat guy in a vest top yelled at us from his window in the block of apartments opposite D:

Me and my Dad went to Orlando and were staying on International Drive at a hotel called "Rodeway" Hotel. There was this huuuuuuuge building down the road with that name on it, so we went there, and apparently we hadn't booked anything. Turns out there was a smaller one a few hundreds yards away.

I face-palmed so hard.

I'll share two:
First one was this hotel my parents stayed in when they came to visit me in Hawaii. It had a nice lobby, but the elevators and rooms were a bit poor. Everything was fine while we were there, but less than a month later a friends family stayed there and one of them sprained their ankle getting off of the elevator. It stopped several inches lower (or higher, I can't remember) than the level of the floor. It turns out they've had a history of this happening and never bothered telling anybody.

I also thought it was kind of interesting that I shared an elevator with Cris Angel a couple of times while I was in Las Vegas.

I have scars on my ankles from hitting those goddamn bed frames! You know, the metal things that stick out a little to keep the mattress in place? I hit them every time.

Umm, I shattered a 10,000 dollar (euro, whatever.) revolving door at a ritzy spa\hotel in italy. I wasn't staying there though, just attending an event.


Yeah... I'm pretty glad I couldn't understand italian then, our british tour guide was fairly up in arms though.

I had a similar experience in the apartment of a girl i dated.

We both came to the conclusion that it was probably haunted. Nothing evil ever came of it.

When my family and I drove up to Colorado, we stayed at this hotel in Texas. Coming back from Colorado a week later, we stayed in the same hotel, had the same room, and were even checked-in by the same receptionist. She remembered us.

Do you remember the name of the hotel?

Yes, it was called Beach hill hotel, and was located in the outskirts of derry city, about a 15 minute drive from the centre of the city itself.

When I went to Washington Chicago with a class of mine I wound up sleeping on the floor since the beds were to hard.

My brother, his friends, and I went to a Yu Gi Oh tournament once and had to stay at a hotel. My brother's friend said he had gotten us each our own bed... he didn't. The room had 2 queen beds in it. Me and my brother shared one, while his two friends shared the other one.

It wasn't funny, it was super lame.
