House RP

We all know him, we all love him(except the hating individuals anyway, but he doesn't care) Gregory House.

I would like to create a RP in his name, giving you guys a first case to work on, and when that case is cracked the person who cracked it can choose:
Stay a doctor
Become the ''House'' of the party, and think of a fun new case.

A doctor can give an individual a treatment, but not without at least 3 other doctors agreeing to it.
Remember because the patients don't really excist doesn't mean they are immortal!

To ensure the House currently leading the RP is fair, you must PM yourself a guideline of what is wrong with the patient, so when in doubt about the honesty, the House can post a screenshot of his pm-inbox with the explanation and timestamp.

in the first post I will begin with a case that's not to hard, just to get your minds cracking.

the first case:

An man in his late 20's woke up in the middle of the night from a terrible nightmare(he later described a sense of piercing pain in the back of his head) and after turning on the light he noticed he had become blind.

He has a history of drug abuse, but has been clean for 6 months now(or so he told us).
Except for the being blind and drugs part and being smoker, he's in good shape working out on a semi daily basis.

Now...go! go! go!

Its Lupus. But anyways, this would probably only appeal to people with medical training and still the entire idea is vague. All in all this RP would be next to impossible. Woulda been cool to read if you can get at least 4 Escapists who are doctors together and watch them argue.

I agree with Abako its Lupus. It has to be Lupus its NEVER anything but Lupus and if any of you disagree your going to get proven wrong.

I think the last time you tried this will result the same here frankly. Not enough users are willing to bother to putter around Wikipedia for medical knowledge to 'win'.

Hmm all very true, might be too complicated. any tips to make this work or is it just doomed?

I really thought that the mechanic was simple, at least simple enough to work if anyone would thouroughly read the topic....

EDIT: Lupus wasn't involved in this case ,he might have had it, but it definitely wasn't part of the major problem. Fancy another go?

I really think this was a bad idea. I know how you feel though, I've had my own share. Don't feel bad just try to do something that's a little more accessable. I had an idea but I had a hard time putting it into words.
