Lets try something different, Its the future and we have robots, the robots rebel and try to take over the world, how do you plan to survive?

The rules:
All weaponry is that of which we have in this day and age (Its not far into the future)
Same goes for tech, No flying cars im afraid.
You can decide the robots your fighting, although try and give yourself a challenge, lest we all be fighting 90's printers.

Me (Irobot style robots) I wouldn't fight, id get my loved ones and run as far away as possible, probably get a gun or two just incase but id find a safe place and hunker down.

I would imagine the robots wouldn't be too impossible to kill, you would just have to be very precise in what you destroy, (Think of shooting a computer, if you hit the harddrive their done for, hit the CD player and they won't be incapacitated at all.) And I would imagine that they wouldn't be military machines either, maybe like in I robot a large contingency of mass produced helper robots, so no in built weapons, but able to crush your skull in if they get hold of you.

I would try and find a gun, I'm sure the military would enforce some sort of arm civilians programme, and probably band together with as many people as possible.

Hehehe, a 90s printer. That would be scary fighting an Okidata :) - makes me think of giant clunky machines with large guns. I think I agree with you.. at first, although eventually I'd try to locate a military base and some better equipment like tanks, rocket launchers, etc. (granted most of it's probably locked down now and inaccessible. Maybe you had the right idea).

Depends on who gets to the nukes first.

If it's the machines, see Terminator.

If it's the humans, detonate them in the atmosphere for EMP-wipeouts.

Yea... I'd have to choose the protectron security robots from Fallout 3/NV. Then it's just a case of stay out of their range and snipe out their bubble heads or the Combat Inhibitor on their back with a rifle of some sort.

If they were like iRobot goons, I'd pull out my gun and put some 7.62 mm holes in them. I am certain my swords would be of some use as well. Be a useful club that bites into the metal and gives a solid hit (a regular hammer might glance off).

DIY videos exist of how to turn a microwave into a radiation emitter that disrupts electronic equipment.
Additionally, there are many places that robots can't reach or cannot traverse, even with the advanced technology we have these days. Dense jungle or icy cliffs for example.

Anyone in here play the Penny Arcade Adventures games? Yeah, those fruitfucker machines. I would probably be Gabe...because I would punch them all to death and make sarcastic comments at them.
