I have WAY too many books to fit into my room, and I've read all of them. I have about 20 PS3 games and about 90 PS2 games, although most of those are my brothers. I have a quite extensive collection of CDs as I don't like downloading illegally and I don't like using iTunes and in my living room I have four corners of DVDs then a DVD case full of the box sets I have. So yeah, my collection of things is quite big, but not as much as some peoples I've seen, one of my friends uncles has 3 cupboards each with about 200 DVDs in them and he arranges them as "Cop Films", "Horror Films" and "Other Films"...

Well, I'm up to about 270 DVDs and 80 games... oh, and my SciFi/comics library takes up almost 2 floor-to-ceiling shelves and consists mostly of Black Library stuff. ^^

The skulls of my enemies are starting to take up a bit too much space..

And I have the entire Discworld series and all its offshoots such as the Nac Mac Feegle Books. And a truck load of Warhammer.

And that isn't even all of it.
Now that's just awesome.

I don't collect much and I guess I'd have to say that my games are the biggest collection I have with a pitiful 41 of them for 5 consoles (Xbox, Xbox 360, PS1, Dreamcast, Gamecube). I also have Doom on the Atari Jaguar just for the Hell of it.

That's pretty freakin' sweet man! I've got the art book too, but it's not the special edition like yours is.

Well, my biggest collection of any one thing is DVDs but there's not even that many of them, to be honest.

I really want that Oddworld book, where did you buy it from?
You can get one offa eBay or Amazon, but you might have to shell out around 20-30 squid for it. It's worth it, though, if you're a fan of Oddworld.

Well I have all the Stargate SG1 DVD box sets and feature length episodes, and the complete Star Trek: TNG DVDs. I also have about 3 dozen Warhammer 40K books and novels (including quite a few signed and special editions). I don't think of them as a collection, because, to me, that means that you get them for the sake of having a bigger collection. I have them because I love them.

Does anyone else collect their things purely for the sake of a collectionor do you actually use your collection for their intended purpose (case in point model trains and stamps).

I have a shell collection but it's rather small- only about 10 odd-looking ones. The real meat of my packrat-ery must be my book collection, or more specifically a collection of my favorite series as a teen: Animorphs. I couldn't be missing more than about a dozen of the 54 books in that series, including the Chronicles and Megamorphs releases.

In retrospect it's unusual just how much blood and gore was depicted despite its target demographic, though necessary I suppose due to the whole thing being a covert war devoid of 'Blasters' or 'Phasers'. This misplaced seriousness came to a head in the disappointing ending. I personally enjoyed some of the so-called 'silly' plotlines better, such as 'The Unknown', 'The Suspicion', and 'The Seperation'.

Got lots of Star Wars and Simpsons material too.

I have a lot of DVDs, probably somewhere near 100. Don't watch many of them though.
