In my opinion, I think it means be kind and calm in demeanor but firm and intimidating and you will be respected, no matter who you are talking too. But that?s just my opinion.

As for the bark/bite comment, I don?t bark. Talk is cheap and anyone who deserves to get bitten doesn?t deserve a warning. But I will share this with you my friends; I am a sword collector, a knife collector, a gun collector, a gunsmith, a martial artist, and a C.Q.C specialist. Feel free to make your own judgment on my bite.

as for the off topic: 7 and a half.

Metaphorically speaking, I suppose mine is medium-sized. I know enough martial arts to take down the average untrained thug, even though my body proportions are definitely not threatening (6'0", 140 lbs... hey, I'm my own stick!). I'm also very quiet most of the time and I spend most of my free time doing tinkery things with computers behind closed doors. People on my hall think I'm "mysterious" and other words like that. I'm not, really. I'm just a nerd.
Physically speaking, between 6 1/4" and just under 7".
C'mon, I couldn't resist.

Do stronger, more manly friends count as a stick? I use them to attack people who hurt me. Plus I speak softly.

Around! OH DAMN! j/k

I like to think that my extreme self-confidence would qualify as a rather large stick!

Considering I have been voted "Most likely to go on Killing spree" in my school for two years running now. I'd say scary in serial killer style.

Eh. I've never been a man of tough demeanor. I seem weak and trusting and overall safe. And this works perfectly for me, because underestimation is a great advantage than any psyche out ;)
