How can I make friends?

I am assuming that your are an adult there there is this neat little thing they invented called a bar, try it, I heard it was good place to meet/do people, in no real order

Is it really though? I might go to the wrong bars, but most of the ones I have been to have mostly been clicks and groups at their respective tables

Bars is a great place to meet people you already know, and then hang out with them and their friends imo.

Though I have never been to a bar or club because I don't drink, I have seen them work magic on a lot of people, and no you don't have to go with friends or people you know, just go, and ans start a conversation with friendly seeming people.

I have a lot of aquatints, or 96 according to Facebook, but none which I or them consider friends, it is super hard to find friends if you have niche interests, personality, or philosophies, and opinions.

If you aren't shy then I suggest starting clubs, and groups at libraries, or online, and go from there.

Develop a caffeine addiction. Just kidding. Anyway, be open to casually talking to acquaintances. It helps at first if they're people you perceive to be a little like yourself. If you seem to get along, ask for their name and introduce yourself, then smile and say hi whenever you see them. Congratulations, you've made a friendly acquaintance with someone. Value every human interaction and see the best in people, try to see through the eyes of a hypothetical Jesus.

Possible outcomes include:

- Staying friendly acquaintances, you know, the type of friendship where you just kind of have mostly pleasant albeit slightly awkward conversations.

- Being introduced to other people.

- Becoming closer friends.
