I saw an old picture where a Mexican Drug Lord is busted and his mansion raided, here's what they found.

This just leaves one question. WHY THE HELL NO ONE CAUGHT ON TO THIS GUY! It would take alot of drugs to pay for that place, this guy had to be in buisiness for a while. How did he smuggle that many gold plated guns, exotic animals and show off that much cash in either Mexico or America and not arouse suspicion?

Anyone else want to add stories that amaze you that the person was not caught for a long time despite how much what they were doing would make them stand out? Seriously, the above is just an example. What stories dumbfound you when you heard about what some person was doing and didn't get caught for a good long time?

EDIT: Yeah, paying for the police force in Mexico is adding insult to injury. They're corrupt assholes.

Yea Mexican police might as well be just enforcers for the drug lords, hell that entire place is a shithole.

Ehh...I wouldn't go so far as to say that. I've been to some nice places and had a good time (like a zipline course in the jungle where the original Predator was filmed ^_^) but I agree that lately things have been...FUBAR is a generous term.

OT: In all seriousness, I'd imagine they would have bribed their way into the wherever they needed to go or they just smuggled it in slowly. I doubt they did all this in one go, I mean, I'm sure the neighbors would have gotten suspicious after seeing the movers try to lure a tiger into its cage right?

Yeah, some guy got a nasty injury on his hand while at a resort. He was suddenly wanted by the police for some BS reason to keep him spending money and the only way to avoid going to a Mexican Prison is to stay at the resort and pay. He hasen't even gotten his hand fix as no one is willing too. And another instance is when on this one donkey tour the tourists get robbed by Mexicans with AK-47's, marched back down the canyon and rushed away for the next batch of suckers for that scam.

Definatly not a holiday destination.
