Now that that's out of the way, I think your friends are terribly immature. You're allowed to dislike bacon and coffee, and if they want to make a big fuss out of it because you don't, they're the stupid ones. You're not at fault, and as long as you're not being a douche and getting after them for liking it you have every reason to leave them.
Bacon, I kinda understand. It's almost elevated to god-like status among foods, mostly by the internet. Coffee, though. I've met plenty of people who don't like coffee. I even like it, but not unless it has some milk and sugar in it. It's just not a pleasant-tasting drink.
Yes, like you, I think people should just chill out. Like what you like, and mind your own business. I've never attacked someone for not liking a certain thing. I do question why, though. I have met a person who said he didn't like music. Not just a certain genre, he hates nearly ALL music. Now I wouldn't attack him for this, but it's such a foreign thing that I wouldn't even understand at first.
