Along time ago in ye old days of online gaming I used to be Lone or Lonewolf. But that kept getting taken as time went on so I swapped a wolf for a phoenix and lone for only. Was the best thing I could think of and I like it.
I used to use a baby naming site to help me come up with names for online games(mostly MMOs).
I came across "Cheveyo" which is supposed to mean "spirit warrior". I liked it and used it.
I used it here because it was the first thing to come to mind when I was picking a user name.

It's a John Lennon song that I like. Not my favorite, but I found it to be a username that I enjoy.
It's an inside kinda thing from around 8 or 9 years ago. I'm just too attached and uncreative to use anything new at this point.
Because of the "Gargoyles" show, back in the 90's. I created my own character, named Dublin. Kinda geek, I know. As for the Solo, it's linked to the fact that I had tho user accounts on my Xbox: "Dublin" for multiplayer, and "Dublin Solo" for the single player. Eventually, "Dublin Solo" won the battle, and it stuck to me.

i got my name from a SBS Show in australia from 1999 called Pizza where some lebanese dudes called Pauly and something work at a pizza shop who's owned by Bobo for about $3 a hour. So yea they used to call people stooge's all the time and i just added a 'i' to it.
I've liked the drow ever since I fought them in Curse of the Azure Bonds. My first D&D character was a neutral-aligned drow.

Midas Betancore is one of my favourite characters from the Eisenhorn omnibus. I have this 'default' list of usernames that I refer to if I can't come up with a specific one for a forum, and since I didn't have anything in mind when I first signed up for the Escapist, I picked Betancore.
Eons ago when the world was still full of hope in my eyes I decided to try Runescape at my local library. As I had no computer at home and was highly unversed in the ways of the internet I didn't know I would have to come up with a user name. Being the aspiring goth that I was (I now being a full on semi goth (I'm broke shut up!)) I began thinking of usernames to showcase my unique darkness, among the names there was darkprophet, blackfate, and blackpaladin. After arguing with myself forever I remembered a picture I saw on deviantart where someone had melded Albel and Fayt from Star ocean 3 into this really epic looking psychotic Fayt covered in blood. With that I decided to change the aspect of "blackfate" to blackfayt, which was rejected for having been taken, I then dropped the c (because blacfayt looks stupid) and there became blakfayt. I have used it on every site I've joined anywhere since and amazingly it is never taken.
