How did you find out about the escapist ?

Came to watch ZP when he migrated here. I was then an idiot and didn't join the site formally until 2009.
I got linked the ZP 50 cent video years ago. Then I got linked the Minecraft video when it came out. And after I watched all the episodes, I stopped lurking and came to the forums. Now I stay for the Extra Credits.
One word Yatzee. It was thanks to his early reviews on Youtube and that video that he work for the Escapist, I follow the link to here. However it took me a while to sign up so I was the lurker type.
I'm going to be different and say I DIDN'T find the site through Zero Punctuation.
It was actually through Unforgotten Realms if I remember correctly. I'd always go to the UR site and follow the links here, but it was only just before UR went off the Escapist I realized I should probably check out the rest of the site. Found all the other great shows on the site and haven't left.

Wow, everyone and their mother found the Escapist from Zero Punctuation, eh?
Shamus Young's Stolen Pixels was the first, first, FIRST thing I found on the Escapist (specifically the Left 4 Dumb comic). Then it was Zero Punctuation, and then Unskippable, and then Apocalypse Lane.

Someone in aforum I frequent regular posted an article about Shining Force that was published in one of the issues (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_290/8576-The-Shining-Force) and after I read it I looked what else can be found here and discovered Zero Punctuation and Extra Credit which made me visit it regularly.
Yahtzee's review of Halo 3. I wanted to know everything about the game before I got it, way back in about 2008, I believe there's a copy on YouTube, and so I stumbled across his review. Then followed him here.

My friend followed Croshaw here. I was spammed by said friend with topics from the forum. I was discouraged at first, because this is the friend who likes Zero Punctuation, but how much I like placing my opinions where they don't belong outweighed that, so I decided to make an account.
