How did you first end up at the escapist?

I must be in the other 5% because i actually came here through the series Unforgotten Realms, which got it's start on youtube and had its own site that later had video links to escapist.

I actually found the site after doing a search for reviews of DS games, having just received a DS for Christmas, and wanting some game suggestions. I found this site, and got hooked on, get this, the articles in the weekly issues. I lurked for a couple of months before joining the forums, and I've been here ever since. The funny thing is, I saw a Zero Punctuation video at some point a year or more before I really found the site, but I didn't especially care for it. I still don't, for that matter: The only series I regularly watch on here is Extra Credits, I'm mostly here for the forums and the print articles.

That is my story. Well, the beginning anyway. It didn't take me long to find out ZP was posted weekly. While waiting, I began reading some of the news, watching escape to the movies, and, getting comfortable in the forums. This is my favorite website (not counting the stores I window shop in)

I have Shamus Young to blame. I read his DM of the Rings a while back and ever since then I read his blog on a daily basis. He linked the escapist and here I am! I don't usually check out the forums, but I just had to throw in my two cents here.

I somehow found a ZP link and loved it, I think it was his Bioshock review. Anyways I came back for the other shows and articles, lurked for a long while and finally broke down and joined up.

Sorry to be a broken record, but just like EVERYONE else, Zero Punctuation is what brought me here.

It was the "Hot Topics" or whatever the box on the side of the videos is called, which brought me the forums and what is now my favorite spot on the web.

When I was watching Xplay on G4, they would sometimes show bits of Zero Punctuation. After they did this a couple of times, I decided to search for it on Google, and here I am.
