My real name is Wes. When I was in seventh grade, I thought I was cool to spell it with Z. Well, one day I noticed that it would be "Zew" if I spelled it backwards.
My very first internet account was darthzew. I've kept it to this day!

Mine's a boring story, really... Eco came from the substance from Jak and Daxter, so no, I'm not environmentalist. Eclipse came from when I used "Eco" as the name of a roleplay character and one of my former friends added it because he felt I needed a last name for some reason. I never actually used the character. Later, an account of mine got hacked and so I created a new one for the site, which was EcoEclipse. Since then it's stuck, and it's much better being referred to as "Eco" than my previous "Toast."
Its from an old Infocom game (back when we all used DOS and text was all we had) called Zork. Every time you go into a totally dark area, you'd get a message saying "Its pitch-black. You might be eaten by a Grue." And if you'd persist on entering, you'd eventually get a message like "You have been eaten by a Grue!" or "You have walked into the slavering jaws of a waiting Grue!" or somesuch.
Queen is the greatest band of the history of bands...and 'Don't Stop Me Now' is the greatest song in the history of songs.

Well...back when men lived in caves to hide from the dinosaurs, I had a character in a short story (later to be a
villain/anti-hero in other stories) who went by "Stryfe." I wanted the e-mail '[email protected],' since I hadn't yet found hotmail. (Strange, no? It was probably taken, anyway.) I then added my first initial to it, making it dstryfe, and just began signing up as that everywhere.

It grew into a bigger persona over time on the net. I really miss that game. >_>
