My most recent and probably favorite character I made was my stealth archer wood elf. I have 100 sneak, 100 Alteration, 89 Marksman, 95% Chameleon, 150 Acrobatics(with Boots of Springheel Jak).

It's far too much fun, nobody sees me.

Everything?

I've done pretty much everything short of a no-combat character.
Same here(except for imperial), but I remember my first was a Redguard swordsman. I remember i got him to the point where I went to the arena and punched out 3 minotaur lords using no health potions, only healing magic wearing unenchanted archmage robes.

I did a mage character once, and didn't get that far with it. I hate magic in Oblivion.

So I've completely disregarded magic in every other playthrough (seriously, I only have the spells I start the game with and never use them). Whenever I play Oblivion now, I ignore the Mage's Guild and the main story (I hate hate HATE Oblivion gates. What a dull environment...).

I always do the Thieves Guild, and most of the time do the Dark Brotherhood quest line. And (though I don't think I have it downloaded on my current gamertag. I did have it for my old one, though) I'd always do the Shivering Isles stuff completely. That was a great expansion pack.

My favorite combat styles: Archery and Hand-to-Hand. And I prefer to be a Redguard.

I've tried most of the races, but nearly every time I've gone archery and stealth, with a bit of healing magic and lockpicking.

I made a Bosmer that was about half way between an assassin and a witchhunter. Sneak and marksman, alchemy and conjuration.

That's exactly the way I play when I want to play "properly". If I'm in the mood to just mess around, I just switch to an Orc class that has no sneaking ability whatsoever, so I'm forced to just run in and attack anything that moves with a big hammer :D

My main tactic is, of course, the stealthy Shadowscale. After I accomplish that, I go about the task of MASTERING EVERYTHING AND BECOMING A GOD! MUAHAHAHA!!!

Stealth based Breton who used passive magic like nighteye and invisibility. Used the blade of woe for a long time but eventually switched to duskfang.

Well, I played everything, but my main was an Argonian assassin.

Sneak, Acrobatics, Light armour, Blade, Marksman, Speechcraft, Mercantile and some magic abilities I believe.

I wreaked havoc with that one.

I just bought Oblivion. I'll most likely ignore the main storyline and go on my own adventure, maybe as a badass vampire slayer or something.

I've made pretty much every different character type you can. Mage, warrior, rogue, battlemage, mage assassin, spell sword, paladin as well as characters where I just cherry picked the attributes that sounded the most fun (usually involving destruction, blade, light armour type characters. Very dark elf-ish).

My character has 100 in every skill and attribute... so... yeah. He pretty much does everything. Frankly once you get all the spellcasting skills to max, hitting stuff with objects just becomes redundant. Hello 750 ranged damage in 5 seconds!
Ranged, nothing. Touch-based spells are obscene. I remember ending up eventually one-shotting everything I touched with a tri-elemental spell I cooked up. I laughed in the face of Deadroth and Dremora. Xivilai trembled in fear at the thought of me running toward them. I believe Jyggalag was down in two hits. Easily my most overpowered character spell.

---

Despite the ridiculous potential might of destruction magic, I find stealth/ranged characters to be the most fun to play. Stalking a target and putting an arrow between the shoulder blades is still immensely satisfying. Just typing about it almost makes me want to fire up the game again and go hunting.

High Elf, custom class. Mix of warrior and mage. Stuff like Armorer, Block and Blade on one side and Illusion, Restoration and Destruction on the other.
