How do I fix a minecraft save file?

I was playing minecraft and heard a spider in the dark , jumped up and knocked the battery out of my laptop and it shut off. Now it says my save file doesn't exist even though I can see it in the .minecraft folder. Can this be fixed? Help would be appreciated.

Wouldn't have thought there's a fix, the save files sound like they're corrupted. So the odds are that you're gonna have to start from stratch, tough break.
