I am playing fallout 3, and I am trying to gett to Oasis, but I am not sure what to do there. Should I kill Harold to stop his suffering, Put the stuff on him to make him grow all over the the wasteland? Which will get me good karma?

That's just the kind of thinking you should avoid. Do whatever seems right. If you're playing to get points, you're playing Fallout wrong. You roleplay your character... it's a roleplaying game after all. What would your character do? Do that.

Use your brain, this isn't difficult stuff. Help Harold do what HE wants.

Of course I would shoot his roots in the cave for the perk :p

I hoped this was actually talking about real world karma, and I was gunna say "do good things".

I don't have fallout 3, but is this guy with a tree growing out of his head? If so I think you have to kill his heart of good guy points, or burn him for bad guy points

HEY HEY HEY! I do not try to be good for points, but I'm afraid killing Harold is wrong

Yeah, you're right.

Note; doing what the people want instead of Harold is bad karma.

Kill him with fire!

No, wait that's for bad karma. You have to go down into the cave, fight through the Mirelurks, and then when you get to his heart, either use the salve on it (if you got it) or kill him, or stunt his growth. I'm pretty sure all three net you good karma, and it depends more on what reward you want.

EDIT: Ok, never mind. See above post.

Donnate to the church in Rivet City. This is what I did for all the level achievements.

I was roleplaying my character for the betterment of mankind. I applied teh stuff taht made him grow more, so that plants could be harvested and transplanted and whatever. I ended up with the bear charm a hood and named power armor. oh yeah and nuetral or no karma. Not too shabby I think.

That was a hard one for me. To quote Spock from Star Trek "The needs of the many out way the needs of the few." So applying the thing that would make him grow more could revitalize the wasteland, but ultimately I ended up killing him like he asked 'cause I figured it must suck being stuck in a tree. Anyway, I think I actually got good karma points for that.

I see. There's your answer. If you think killing him is wrong, then let him live.
