How do I install this?

Hmmm....never had confusion with Garry's mod before...I downloaded a background addon-A background for the menu. This one is valve-themed, and includes music.

Nowhere on facupunch did I find instructions on installation...does anyone know how?

It contains a console folder, with background01.vtf, and a sounds folder with gamestartup1.mp3

No instructions.

I know what you mean. Install add ons for Garry's Mod can be frustrating. But, don't you think the Facepunch forums would be a better place to ask for help?

I'm not a member on facepunch-i only looked at the topics and posts.

Did you try to put it in the addons folder? The address is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons.

Maybe the creator didn't even test it. Anyway there are lots of thing to find on garrymod.org that actually work so get downloading and have fun.
