im a noob ok but i got my sisters laptop and its got generic videocard drivers on it

i heard there are programs that can diagnose my system for it or something?

Can't you just google the make and model?

Failing that, right click on "computer" and select "manage", pick the "device manager" tab, then "display adapters".

See what info you can get from that...

:/ Derp.

Check the system properties in Windows(I assume it is running windows) and it should say, if not look for the Device manager and it will tell you exactly what devices are running and with which drivers.
