your body knows when it needs sleep. When you're tired, you'll be tired. Trust millions of years of bio-evolution.

Keep yourself busy the whole time. Last time I did that I was at a public lan and I started hearing and seeing stuff. I thought people across the hall were insulting my mom and at one point I thought I was in physics class and my teacher was calling my pc a piece of crap

That sounds perfect. I woke up at like 3 yesterday, so it's not like I'm massively depriving myself.

Adrenaline shots and jaffa-maggedon

What's Jaffa-maggedon? It's:

2 Mocha sachets
Milk
Tray of ice cubes
4 jaffa cakes

Blend it, drink it.

The upgraded/reinvented version adds Ben and Jerry's Phish Food icecream to the mix.

It probably wasn't the healthiest thing for me to do, but it made for some interesting stories

A trick we use in the military is to drink water. If you have to pee, it is harder for you to fall asleep. But that isn't an all-day solution. It works for a while but eventually you pee. Avoid eating heavy foods, stick to fruits. Try not to get comfortable and do some exercise whenever you start to get tired to get the blood flowing. Hanging upside down is also a quick way to get blood to the brain. Hrm, I can't think of anything else right now that hasn't already been suggested.

I'd advice you NOT to take a nap. Personally after an all-nighter I can either not sleep at all or sleep at least a few hours. Even if I put an alarm to wake me up after like 15 - 20 minutes, I'll wake up several hours later. But I guess this doesn't apply to everyone :p .

My suggestion is also to keep yourself busy. Don't lie down for any reason. Fresh air and caffeine are propably the most simple ways to stay awake I can think of.

Caffeine and sugar. Hit the local Dunkin Donuts (or whatever it's called in your town), and get a black extra-large coffee and 3 donuts.

Then get a good nights' sleep tonight.

You could take those 5hr energy vitamin shots, if you don't want to do too much caffiene. I take them for work and they do pretty well. Remember to drink lots of water also.

Get insomnia, you will be able to stay awake much longer.

I once dated a chick with amnesia. I also happened to be addicted to WOW at the time, it was pure win to have her up on the phone at 4 while I grinded :D

er...Ya actually insomnia would be win.
