I use a Gillette safety razor from 1969, I think, shaving cream, a brush, and use some aftershave. It allows me to free my mind and focus on not cutting myself.

Female here, I don't need to shave my face, but I do shave my legs and armpits. I usually use a razor with disposable knives in the shower. In the summer I usually shave my legs everyday if the weather's appropriate for short pants, and wax my armpits because it's too much of a bother to do shave them everyday. In winters I shave my armpits and legs once a week because we're not allowed to wear long sweatpants to gym class (such a bother though, except for one hour a week no one sees your legs, but if you don't do it "oh goodness").

I prefer mens razors because for some reason they are just sharper than womens razors.

Electric every couple weeks. I TRY to have lovechild of goatee and soul patch, but my facial hair genes just suck.

I use electric clippers and shave my face while I'm shaving my head, but the due to the utilitarian nature of my shaving routine, I think it could be more accurately described as shearing rather than shaving.

I don't shave my whiskers, I drive them in with a hammer and bite them off inside.

Beard trimmer to get it into basic shape (depending on how long I've left it), then wet shave to cut it how I want it. Wet shave for the head. Dead shiny.

Especially for the head I use Azor razors, which are about the best and most long-lasting I've found.
Nice one for the tip, been shaving my head for 20 years now with a variety of different methods(weirdest one was my Canadian Buddy when I visited shaving my head with his Lumber Axe,yes it WAS that sharp!,oh and Tanto's,obviously straight razors etc,but none of them beat the convenience of the ludicrously expensive(here in Ireland anyway) Gillette line,
but I'm gonna give Azor's a try now,thanks,
as for the beard,it gets shaped with a pink ladyshave razor at the moment cause my GF gave it to me,and I lost the "trim length plasticky bits"(technical term there!) from my barbers trimmers.

On the subject of a smooth shiny head,I'm like a reverse Samson nowadays, anything longer than 3 days without shaving my head leaves me grumpy and physically off somehow, then my GF slaps me upside the head and gets out the razor... :)

Regular razor, in the shower, no cream. About once a week for my face, and daily for my funzone.

I wish I could shave in such a way that it always looks like I shaved about 3 days ago. That's when I got that sexy Jason Statham stubble going on.
DAILY for your "Funzone"...
fucking hell son,
you better quit that or you are gonna wind up with serious problems!,(p.s. you're not a pornstar)
once a week is enough!,with a Wahl or similar, with a number one/two blade,it's the best length, not short enough to itch,
,short enough to show off your "funzone"
jesus, you shave your pubic area DAILY...with a regular razor, and no cream...
just google how bad that is for the most sensitive skin on your body.

Q. How do you shave
A. Rarely, and with great reluctance. My beard's the source of my superpowers you see. Well, some of them anyway.

Personally, I prefer wet. Dry feels awkward. Also, definitely use a hand razor.

I only shave like once every three weeks or so and even then I only get rid of the neck scruff and trim up the rest. Of course it'd help I had my own electric razor instead of having to use my dad's crappy old one. It does the job, but it can only do but so much.

Shave every week or two and just use a normal blade. I don't like shaving cream though, just makes the process take longer and get messier.

Depending on my mood, I either use an electric razor, or a disposable one with shaving foam. I find that the wet shave is cleaner, but the electric one is quicker and easier for weekdays.
I always, always go for a clean shave. I'm at the age where it just looks rubbish and patchy if I let it grow. Besides, I've always thought I looked kinda good clean-shaven.

At 18 years old I shave once every few months. Facial hair grows so slowly for me that I simply don't care about shaving, I have a very basic razor and for a little while after I shave my skin feels awful, and then I proceed with my facial hairless life. All the guys in my family are the same, my dad has a bit of stubble going on after the best part of a year not shaving.

Reluctantly.

Sometimes I'd really like to rock facial hair, but 'lol hormones' prevent me from getting anything more than sparse blotches of hairs. Upside of that; at least I have no annoying chest- and backhair. But with this level of facial hair I'd rather just have none at all and be rid of shaving altogether. I use an electric razor by the way.

Thank god I live in Europe! I don't have a beard to shave and I don't shave my pubic area (Trimming with an electric razor is good enough.) And I won't be shaving my legs until March. (Winter cold = no dresses or spontaneous pool trips. Besides, it keeps my legs warm and toasty ^^)

But when I do shave, I share a really good gillette with my boyfriend and some gell.

I started shaving around 14/15 with a standard Mach 3, but I suffered pretty badly from razor burn. At the age of 20, I switched over to electric, and, while I enjoyed the convenience of it, I never really felt that my shave was any good. At 28, I switched back to the Mach 3 and my oh my, it's simply lovely. No razor burn, I shave every other day, and I'll never go back to electric. Also...anyone looking to buy a really nice Philips electric razor?

I hate shaving but my mother hates facial hair, so we came up with the compromise that someone else (usually dad) has to be the one shaving me. Once a week I sit down on a chair and let him shave my beard with a safety razor and soap.
I've been trying to convince him to start using a shaving knife for that old school barber feel, but he doesn't want to, and that's probably for the better.

Dark brown hair here, and I've got a bit of a bald spot (Can you call them that when they're not on your face?) directly under my chin, so a beard's not really an option. I'm OK with a bit of stubble, so I normally shave two or three times a week. I do it with a normal old razor, and change the blades when they get dull (about five or six weeks, for me).

Dry.

I have stolen roommates' razors in emergencies before & have been told that I can dull a fresh razor in a single use. She's like "What did you shave? a ROCK?" XD
