Does anyone have a recommendation for cleaning the screen of a psp and other things like CDs and
ipods? I only want suggestions that have been tried please.I was told to use a microfiber cloth and Windex or glass repairing solutions.

Doesn't it give instructions in the console manual? You may even find an answer on the back of the PSP.

To clean CDs run them under warm water and dry thoroughly with a soft towel, however do not try this with the PSP or iPod.

A soft dish cloth and a bit of warm water is really all you need 90% of the time. Windex+cloth if water doesn't cut it.

Grab Novus plastic polishes #1 and #2. #1 cleans, shines, and protects and #2 gets out fine scratches (If it's got deep scratches grab some #3 as well.) http://www.novuspolish.com/

Follow the instructions on the site and so long as it doesn't look like Freddy Krueger got at it that stuff should clear em up. If you can't find the products at the hardware store, theres a whole bunch of places that sell it online and if your in the US or Canada their website's got a number you can call for a list of distributors near you.

With a brick?
Sorry, no real hate for the PSP or Sony but I felt that it was expected of me as a 360 owner...
But yeah any soft cloth should do, just be gentle!

No problem. If you really don't want it to get scratched, once you've got it fixed up do what payj said and get one of the silicon covers for it. Oh and if you get the polish off the screen be gentle wiping it off. It's an abrasive so it still leaves little tiny scratches. Nigh unnoticeable on something solid and opaque, but with light shining though the screen it could end up looking a a bit hazy.
