If I'm eating it in a more casual setting, I'll eat with my hands. If not, I eat with knife and fork. You know, manners and all.

I eat it like it should be eaten D< with my fingers. Chicken is a finger food damn it! To be honest...I understand not likeing greasy fingers, but with certain things like chicken and ribs...I find certain actions others take...er "bougie" and unnecessary

... chicken drumsticks?

Trivial question, I know, but I will invite the mass mocking of... you people... because I pondered this yesterday evening when I was eating said foodstuff... using chopsticks! Don't know if my sister's any better but she uses chopsticks at first, wraps a tissue around one end of the bone then proceeds to eat the rest without getting her hands 'dirty'.

-_-
Why not just cut it off with a fork and knife, and then eat it, (thats what I do, I am not a fan of picking up greasy foods, love the taste though), hell I'll eat pizza and freis whith a knife and fork if given the option.

Also I use the fork in my right hand instead of the normall left, why doesn't everyone else, why do you switch hands when only using one hand. If I use the fork in my left hand I am likely to stab myself in the face.

I hold the narrow end with a napkin.
I don't like feeling greasy, even for the short duration of eating something.

Using my hands.

What I do not use my hands for is steak. I mention this because I was just witness to my friend eating a steak rare with his... hands. Who does that? He ripped it apart like a bear.
He's eating with his bear hands. Eh-heh-heh.

OT: I use telekinesis. That's how us mages roll.

I usually wrap a bit of kitchen roll around the bone end and strip the rest bare, minus the cartilage and gristle of course.

A drum stick I'll hold the bone bit (which is also the least messiest) and just eat all the meat. I'm shameless messy when eating at home because I can clean up after me, but if I am to eat them in company or public I manage to eat them like a boss with no mess.

Ok, that is assbackwards lol.
I used to eat ribs with my hands, but then I found out how easy is is to eat them with a fork and knife. And it's a lot less messy. I don't know how anyone eats a chicken leg with a fork, or god forbid a chicken wing.

You must be from north america where fork on the right is normal.
Quick profile check says Aussie. Most of the people I know in the U.S. eat with their left and cut with the right, we're not as homogeneous as you'd think.

Getting your hands and mouth wet with grease is part of the experience. I get rotisserey chickens and always prefer the legs because I just love eating it straight off the bone. Though I am a very messy eater so yeah.

With a knife and fork.

Like a sir!

I've tried to do this from time to time, especially if there's bbq sauce involved, but... the narrow part of the bone is just such a convenient handle! D:
