How do you kill zombies in dead island?

Hmmm, I havent personally played the game yet myself, but If I wanted to kill an enemy I would throw the machete. But not in the *Throw* *Clunk, stuck in the chest* Style.sagejosh said:

This doesn't seem like a manly way to kill anything. It makes me think of some middle age woman freaking out and flailing the first thing she had in her hands. A pan since naturally she is a woman.sagejosh said:
Throwing expert though so throw a couple of electrified machetes and knives. It kills entire groups if you have the perk that does a (lol almost put area effects spell, been playing to much oblivion) damage to an area around the zombie that you hit. Single Zombies, flying kick, and than using the Super Mario combat-technique of jumping on their heads. Don't need to damage my precious weapons when I have two healthy feet.

I like throwing things.
I used to stick to knives and machetes and such, but it's immensely satisfying to throw my mighty hammer and knock out a zombie running directly at me.
I'm also guilty of throwing machetes at knife-wielding zombies while saying "That's not a knife. That's a knife."

I tried to cut off their legs and watch them hobble along to catch me. Until I realized you can't cut off their legs until they're dead. :{

Yeah since sharp weapons can cut limbs off, they didn't want to make it less appealing to use blunt weapons. So blunt weapons can "break" bones, which is essentially the same as dismembering. The limb just hangs there, limp and unusable. Of course, the zombies still aren't defenseless, and Thugs especially have quite a devestating headbutt-bite if you're not careful.Vanguard_Ex said:

When I HAD to kill things, it was done with molotov spam and electric machetes (or the front bumper of a truck). At least until I was able to get Zed's Demise, in which case I just chucked around my 20 duplicates like they were party favors.
I sprinted past everything, unless it was totally unavoidable and I was forced to kill them. It was the only way I was able to stomach this buggy, clunky, frustrating mess of a game to the end.

well i would have a frying pan with an electric or fire mod if i could but its one of though scenery weapons that are always at level 1. the title is a joke, just thought i would explain that seeing as ur like the 2nd or 3rd person to go "i dont get".UmbrellaAssassin said:
