took art as major because it was what I wanted to do with my life
probably not the smartest decision because the job market for art is much more limited compared to things like business, medical, and law.

Anyway, I'd say common sense is all. You have tons of other kinds of measureable intelligence, but it all comes down to that. Common sense.
