How do you like sleeping with another person?

I can't sleep with other people in the same bed. I need the entire bed to move around on, I need all the pillows, and I need all of the blanket. But the only time I've tried is with a person who I'm not in a romantic/sexual relationship with. I usually cuddle up on a pillow,(forever alone,) so I might be able to sleep with a significant other.

I can do it, but what nearly always happen is me getting stuck into the gap between the mattress and the wall and waking up very, very sore. I also move around a lot and not being able to move out of fear of bothering the other person is very, very troublesome for me. While I can do it, I never have a good time with it. I much, much prefer to have the bed all to myself so I can sleep in random angles in my quest for comfort. Oh, and then I have trouble getting out of the bed when I do wake up because I don't want to disturb them. A friend once got a lot of my blood on him because of this. He wasn't amused. Another thing: their body heat bothers me something awful. Temperature is always something that's a problem for me. And they often complain about my insistence on having the fan on, which leads to it being off for the night. Which means I start hearing things. Then I start seeing things. Then I start feeling things... and basically slip into a massive fit of paranoia.
tl;dr: I prefer to sleep alone.

Yeah, cuddling is nice, but it's hard to fall asleep like that. My girlfriend throws out a lot of heat, and narrow college beds don't make it any better.

I'm fine with it, but sometimes I suffer from night terror (like once or twice a year if not less), so when it happens it can be sometimes uncomfortable (mostly if I didn't tell them beforehand I suffer from it).

Never had a problem sleeping next to someone. Only thing I find annoying is if i'm cuddling wiht a partner my arm's usually pinned underneath her which can be a bit annoying if i'm trying to get comfortable.

Sleeping in a bed with others can be great, especially if it's cold.
When it's too warm though, it's horrible. My boyfriend stayed over in my *tiny* single bed, and I got so warm and unhappy, I just slept on the floor.

Easily the worst thing is when you're gassy, and you're sharing a bed (or even a room). Damn it, when I'm alone I can fart, and so be it, but with someone else (especially a friend staying over, lmao) I have to hold it in and get tummi rumbles, or leave to the bathroom.

DILEMMA.

Me and my other half usually cuddle or spoon (I still think spooning sounds dirtier than it is), for a little while anyway, then we usually break it off and sleep more comfortably.

We have a king-sized bed, so there's plenty of room to do what we want.
Same here with me and Mr. Boyfriend (hell, I even agree with you about spooning sounding dirtier than it really is).

And yeah, I do enjoy sharing a bed (for the most part. I've shared a bed with relatives before and haven't really enjoyed it), but me and the boyfriend both have a habit of hogging the blankets, so I guess that makes it a bit less fun for the both of us.

This title is a tiny bit misleading...

Anyway, I don't like it. I sleep wild and like a lot of space and stuff.

I don't mind it it usually, as long as i'm on the wall side. I usually minimize the space i take up by sort of wedging myself into the corner formed where the bed meets the wall. it's surprisingly comfy and gives my sleepmate more room.

PROBLEM-SOLVING. CONSIDERATE. WHO WANTS TO SLEEP WITH ME.

Hell I'm married for years and still dislike sleeping in a bed with someone else. If it's time for hot hot Uzo lovin then it's great -- but if I'm busy at work, not getting enough sleep due to long hours at work (I work in a 24/7 IT role), the kid waking up early/not going to sleep; then goddamnit woman leave me alone. I'm in bed for two reasons - sleep or sex. I'm not here to allow my body parts to function as your goddamn hot water bottle.

Basically this. I love cuddling but I can't actually fall asleep that way.

My boyfriend has moved a few times in the last year and we were confined to a single bed for a long time which wasn't the most comfortable situation. Sometimes if it was too warm I wouldn't be able to sleep and I'd get really irritable.

I love sleeping with my boyfriend but every now and again I enjoy having a big bed to myself where I can spread my limbs and hog the blanket as much as I like... also there's less snoring.

basically... this, but with more sweatiness and snoring.

I sleep easier with someone, or something, next to me. I used to have my cat sleeping on my bed back when she lived, and that would always help me fall asleep. Nowadays, I have real sleep troubles, though those are largely thanks to a friend of mine.. ^^ (I can't sleep before 2-3 in the morning now... :D)

Except in hot weather, sleeping in bed with my duckette is one of the best things in life.

What's even better is waking up with her in the morning and, of course, not sleeping in bed together.

I like cuddling. I sleep a lot better. But only if I feel safe and secure. Otherwise its slightly awkward and I sleep as I usually do. Restlessly tossing and turning all night.

I can only sleep next to certain people. I prefer sleeping on my own but I have slept next to my best friend at his place heaps. Last time I was there we had 4 guys in the one double bed and had shaving cream wars while playing my friends WoW account.

On numerous occasions I've spent the night sharing a two-person bed with different people of non-romantic interest. These times I end up pretty much perfectly still on my stomach taking up as little space as possible. Which I guess is weird, but it just kind works out that way.

Spending the night in a one-person bed with a lady-friend is nice but uncomfortable at best.
