How do you like your eggs?

I like them non-existent. I had a case with some bad eggs a few years ago, literally. Long story short, I was ill for a few days, and ever since then I've lost the taste for eggs. I can still eat stuff that contains egg, so long as I don't have to experience the taste of it.

Scrambled eggs, I love scrambled eggs.

Scrambled eggs with bacons, sausages, mushrooms, black pudding and hash browns is the bestest breakfast in the history of ever.

I put eggs in the microwave, wait for them to explode, and then eat them that way.

The explosion is only there because I like explosions. I do, however, quite like eggs, but they're just not the same when they've basically lived through the unfertilised child version of 'Nam. They're different. Mature. Burning my mouth.

Or without the shell, which my four year old self can attest to.

It might be a little unconventional, but I prefer my eggs scrambled with some soy sauce mixed in. Just something I picked up from my Dad and it has stuck with me.

Runny. Preferably in an omelette, but so long as they're really runny, I will eat them and eat them gladly. In fact, I've been experimenting lately with just cutting out the proverbially middle-man and eating them raw (though seasoned, obviously).

Serious talk here, a bowl of rice with a raw egg cracked on top, served with soy sauce is a fantastic breakfast.

I rarely eat eggs by themselves. When I buy eggs it's generally to bake a dessert of some kind, and I use the remainder for pancakes.
But on the rare occasion I'll have an egg breakfast, I'll go sunny side up and dip toast in the yolk.

Scrambled and overcooked, mixed in a bowl of white rice, sriracha hot sauce and a tiny bit of shredded cheese(melted after mixed in).

edit: I don't associate this with any particular meal time. I have had it from everything between breakfast and a midnight snack.

I make a pretty mean omelette so that's probably my favourite way. I mix Sriachi sauce into the eggs as well as garlic and dill. Then, I put olives, sun-dried tomatoes, extra old cheddar, mushrooms, and either ham or bacon inside the omelette.

If we're talking just eggs on their own though, I loved poached eggs.

Then there's the most fun way to eat eggs. You cook them soft-boiled, remove the tops, and then put them in some egg holders (don't know the actual term for these). Then, you butter some toast and slice it into strips. Dip the strips in the soft boiled eggs.

I also tend to love your standard sunny-side up fried egg.

I love eggs. I eat them almost every day.

Sunny side up with the gooiest yoke possible please! The whites can't be undercooked though so there's a fine balance.

My second favorite method of devouring eggs is having them boiled. It makes for a simple and delicious supper but I try not to do it too often. I stay away from scrambled eggs and omelets, they make me feel ill.

Glad mine wasn't the only mind to go that way, lol. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0YmmSxLeH8]

Anyway, I only really like eggs two ways. Scrambled with lots of black pepper and some ketchup--something to make them not taste quite so much like eggs. Or, I boil them, cut them in half, remove the yolk, then cut up the egg whites and put them with ramen and green onions. I used to do it with ham too to make Ponyo Noodles, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v4FSXFIgSg] but keeping the ham got expensive and made the process even longer for a morning meal.

Scrambled french style, you whisk the egg while it's cooking so the curds that form are small then you add butter just before it's the consistency you want

In the form of meringue.

But seriously, I will generally take eggs any way, provided the yolk is nice and runny. Poached, fried, boiled... kinda too many to choose from to say my favourite. Eggs Benedict is up there, though.

I'm also partial to scrambled eggs and omelettes. One of my favourite recipes - courtesy of an ageing Delia Smith cook book -is scrambled eggs with cream cheese (the kind with herbs in it). Mix that into the eggs and you're golden. If you're feeling especially fancy, you can even serve it on brioche. Such a weird-sounding combination, but it tastes so good.
