How do you MMO?

With Wildstar, ES:O, Destiny and others on horizon I can't help but check them out and see if they would be something I might like to play. While Wildstar and ES:O are more traditional MMO's Destiny seems to be a sort of hybrid with MMO elements. Sort of a Borderlands + GW2 thing.

So I'm wondering, how do you play your MMO's?

Did you get a game like ToR and play through some of the class stories then put it down? Or did you stick around for PvP and endgame?

Are you a WoW veteran who has remained faithful and only ventured away to try some new MMO's only to find yourself back in Azeroth?

Do you play with a cult guild? If so how big is it? How long have you played with them?

With Wildstar we might see a return to form, but Destiny might be that middle ground sweet spot where you can do dungeons and single player content without needing a guild or clan. How do you play? How do you want to play?

There have been 2 MMOs that I've spent lord knows how many hours in: Ragnarok Online and Perfect World. I usually like to play with a bunch of my friends on Skype so we can form balanced parties to take on quests and dungeons, and we usually build 2 or 3 characters at a time in case we need to swap and compensate. There's a bunch of us that like to play together, so I've never really bothered with guilds.
