How do you plan to be immortalized?

This world is my world and you're all parts of it that will effectively expire if I do. (And in a very philosophical way, this makes sense. If I die, then the world I was in ceases to have any meaning and therefore is dead along with me. Ergo, I am immortally imprinted upon the world until it dies.)

{2} Be reborn as the lord of the Dark Dominion and torment all of creation 'till the end of time and maybe further than that.

Realistic: Start some sort of war or horrible atrocity that will forever be remembered in books and history, or do something to contribute to the expansion and evolution of humanity as a whole in a significant way.

Unrealistic: Develop a highly evolved A.I. system that could allow the uploading and downloading of the human mind, thus creating the possibility of immortality and infinite knowledge from a gathered collective. Though I'd design it to be possible to remain a separate entity within the system while still being able to gather knowledge and learn from other uploaded minds, and with the added possibility of downloading your immortal mind into a computer or robotic form in which you could take control.

Unrealistic: Being the front man for a world renowned rock group.

And they will take those posts as the basis for a hyper-advanced AI personality that RULES THE WORLD.

See, that would be cool, but I'd much rather my disjointed internet ramblings be gathered and treated as a holy text by the survivors of the collapse of society.
