[ img ] image source [ /img ] without spaces.
I'm fairly certain there is a thread on the coding needed to do all these little tricks.

You could have just consulted the forum guides for this.

test
You have to upload the image to a picture hosting website, like www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com. Then, take the image url and replace the location you have with it.
Or, if it's an image on the web, just right click and select, 'copy image location'

Are you trying to post from your computer? You need to upload it to a host then link to it.

Just another little thing.

To avoid making numerous test posts. Use the preview button, it saves me from looking like an idiot (partially) all the time.

I, for example, can't find it. I don't know if they did it on purpose, but it's so well hidden that I couldn't find it. Why isn't it stickied?

If memory serves, there once was a user created thread about HTML tags, but it seems to have disappeared into oblivion. Here´s the official Forum markup document. Everything you need to know can be found there.
