Seing as how my username and real Name are identiacal... english, which is given a half-turkish heritage probably wrong, but never kept me from doing so.

Not really a mispronunciation, but my old username used to be Flaming_Eskimo, and some people (for some reason) thought the "flaming" part meant "gay" as in "flaming homosexual". You can understand why I made the switch.

IPA incoming

/nɪmzɑɹ/ or /nɪmzɑr/

/n/ voiced alveolar nasal
/ɪ/ high front unrounded vowel
/m/ voiced bilabial nasal
/z/ voiced alveolar fricative
/ɑ/ low back unrounded vowel
/ɹ/ voiced alveolar retroflex liquid or /r/ voiced alveolar trill

or if you don't know any IPA

the n is pronounced as any n is in English
the i is pronounced as in fit, mitt, sit, it, etc.
the m is pronounced as any m is in English
the z is pronounced as in Zebra, the the first sound in xylophone
the a is pronounced as in far, car, lark, bark, etc.
the r is pronounced as any r is in English or as a trill if you want... no gargling of this r though (looking at you GERMAN and related r gargling languages... I kid of course... I think the voiced uvular fricative is AWESOME).

I can't really explain, actually. Usually people just pronounce it "Saini" or something like that.
