So, I'm RPG's, how do you role?

Play style, race etc class lol.

In Oblivion, I play a Warrior Nord with magic backup lol. Or a Wood Elf assassin.

In WoW, I play a tanking Dwarf Paladin who mines and black-smiths (just to be stereotypical :p)

In Mass Effect, I play a male Infiltrator lol

So... What about all of you?

I guess I usually go for the Tank role since it something I can handle and I HATE being the healer role.

I love the random "lols" inserted into your OP. Were you really "laughing out loud" while typing this?

I like playing clerics or equivalent in the traditional DnD style games because they're usually hard to kill and you can res people which always makes you popular online.

DnD wasn't really my thing. Now Old School WoD, thats where I was. Your looking at a Cultist of Ecstacy with a damn fine hold on the Sphere of Life.

I hate relying on other people, so I take as many roles as I can and end up not having enough skill points to be good at any of them, forcing me to rely on NPCs/other players. You'd think I'd catch on at some point...

As far as class, race etc. go, I tend to play humans whenever possible. When it comes to classes, it changes quite a bit, but I prefer either mages or healers in most MMOs. There have been some exceptions though. My Oblivion characters always end up as spellswords or warrior/mage/thief characters, my Morrowind characters are always mages, my Dark Messiah characters are either warriors, assassins, or warrior/assassins, my Runes of Magic character was a scout/priest, and my DDO character was a Jack-Of-All trades, master of one style ranger.

I still hold that the best multi-talented class is the ranger, not the bard.

Magicky goodness. In Oblivion, my mage could cast a Shield so well he could tank, go invisible and be as good at stealth as any assassin, and destroy anything with magic. I love magic because it can be used to cover all your weaknesses. I usually tend to play as humans.

Depends on the options, really. I pick Half-Elf whenever it lets me, and I almost always favour ranged - whether ranged magic or ranged physical - but more often I tend to do the 'overwhelming magical onslaught' thing. However, when in a group with others, I also prefer supporting, so I tend to gravitate towards healers and buff classes to make sure everybody is fighting well. I can play, and enjoy playing, as pretty much every class combination. That's just my favourite.

I role from distance and love little more than the cover of darkness. Stealth and sniper rifles. Gotta love 'em.

Mind you, in a game like Oblivion I don't have a sniper rifle, just a bow, some weapon rebalance mods, and my own uncanny ability to put a shot on target in that game. But in Fallout 3 and New Vegas? I'm the consummate sniper.

Tanker with a sword and shield is my default choice. You can't really go wrong with it, until you reach mid-late game. Then I re-roll a min-max shadowblade magecaster or something overpowered.

Lol. That annoys me lol.

Anyways, lol, back on the lolpic.
Mage usually, such as Dragon Age lol and Oblivion, I'm always the paragon/hero, who does things for others with no reward lol (DAO, I gave 10g to a beggar lol)
Lol, in other games where you can be multiple things at once lol I'm a posh bloke lol who dislikes the poor and unwashed, and draws the line at helping for free lol.
So, lol, to recap:

Mage: Lol, hero and incredibly nice.
Not-a-mage-lol: Fairly nice but likes a reward for his actions.
Warriorlol: He wants money and power and doesn't care how he gets it. But he won't kill grannies lol.

In Oblivion I'm always Dark Elf with good Swords and Destruction skills.
In other games, usually warrior. On second plathrough, mage. If there's no mage then some kind of archer.

i mostly play melee classes. The reason i said melee was because ranged characters tend to be squishy so that turns me off them by default.

The equivalent of A DPSer, I guess. I go for the fastest weapon I can get my hands on, crank up the damage, and add some amour on if it doesn't slow me down to much.

Sometimes I become a tank, too; super heavy armour with a huge, slow sword in my hand; none can stand before me and live.

I never trust magics (too many 'out of mana' experiences) and I find a ranged-only character often gets mauled in close combat.
