So I recently got my PSP on to the internet and I saw that there were downloadable titles for it. But the PSP has no internal memory so how would you play them. Either they stream to your PSP or you'd have to save them onto memory cards. Both of which raise problems.

Memory cards is the answer. I'm guessing the problem is Sony's ludicrous pricing for Memory Sticks?

yeah a 4 gig memory card is like 40 dollars. Which can hold like 10 downloadable games or 3 full games.

If you have a PS3, you can download and keep them there, and transfer one to the memory card when you want to play it, otherwise I think (not sure, though, I only did it for demos back when I had a PSP) you can download PSP games through a PC, so that would be another alternative: keep them on your hard drive and only carry the ones you are currently playing.

Yeah, there's a PC program called Media Go that I back up my games, saves, etc. onto. You can redownload PS Store purchases from there, or transfer them from your PSP memory card (and yes, you will need one to play a digital download. In the play game bit of the main menu you'll either get the option to run from UMD if you have a UMD drive or from the memory card.

Now if Sony actually allowed UMD->file conversion I may actually give a shit about the Vita *grumblegrumblegrumble*
