The question is in the title. I have my games on a shelf and I keep them in alphabetical order. This is probably a really stupid question, but I'm curious.

Most of them are right next to my xbox 360. But computer games are in a shelf next to TV

Most of my PC games I store in their cases, in a set of drawers underneath my computer desk.

However, I store all my 360 game discs (and manuals) in a big DVD wallet, which I keep near my 360.
I started doing this after a couple of game discs started cracking around the centre.
I think this was caused by a combination of the 360 heating up the disc and making it weaker, plus certain types of spindles in game cases are quite hard (usually in editions with multiple discs) and can easily crack a warm disc if you're not careful.

I avoid keeping all my game boxes on display on a shelf, because it's an extravagant display of how much money I've spent on games.
I know not many people would agree with this, but I feel that having a shelf which represents thousands of pounds spent on a past time is a bit OTT, almost like a vulgar display of a wasted life.

Well, I agree that this is a bit of a silly question, but an original one none the less.

I keep my 360 games alphabetised, stacked in a rotating spindle. My PC games that aren't on Steam fill up the rest of the Spindle. I keep my Wii games in a wallet of CDs and in plastic pockets.

They're spread along various shelves and bookcases and stuff in my room. I have a rather large collection so one shelf can't hack it unfortunately. My room is ridiculously cluttered.

In two DVD wallet booklet case... things, I have one for PC games, one for Xbox games.
In alphabetical order, the PC one goes in a drawer, the Xbox one goes in the Xbox box or the Xbox bag.

I do the same. The case for the game I'm playing is on the console, and my PC and Mac games are alphabetic above my PC and Mac, respectively.

I would use my bookcase, but it's sorta full of books. So I just put them on a large stack on my desk, which does become a bit problematic at times.

My 360 games are at my boyfriend's house in a stack on the floor.
(I'm moving houses and my babies needed a save haven)

In a shelf on the piece of furniture that my TV stands on. No order, except for PS3-games in one group and Xbox-games in one group.
