I have exams in about a week, and I would like to ask you all what you think is the best way to study. I usually just sit down and stare at my notes for an hour >.> There's probobly a better way to do it then that...right?

Write your notes out over and over again in alphabetical order (for example, names) until they get stuck in your head. Also, try to make a rhyme.

What the Fu** is studying?... I haven't studied for a test since I was 10, (Granted I'm very lucky and a good test taker. So I can wing my way through almost any test).

But from what my friends say, its a good idea to rewrite your notes a few times, thinking about each word as you write. Or you could read and re-read and re-re-read in your head a few times for almost the same affect.

Rewrite your notes into an outline like format that's easy to read. Then read them aloud to yourself and make flash cards of important ideas and definitions.

It's also best to study in smaller time slots such as 10-15 minutes as opposed to an hour.

I find that condensing notes I've taken helps a lot. Breaking down a long, wordy paragraph into a single sentence, for example, helps the information stick. Shorter snippets are more memorable. Just remember that everyone learns differently; find something that works for you.

I read through the notes, copy them out, and maybe try to write a practice essay or two. Works pretty well, for me.

I study in 10-15 minute bursts in between equivalent bursts of time spent on the internet or IMing with friends. It's admittedly not very efficient, but it's the only way I get studying done until the 1-2 weeks before finals when I buckle down for all day study sessions

Nope. The night before thats what I do. For some odd reason I can only study the night before and I memorize everything after reading it about 3-4 times.
