How do you take being beat by a girl On games?

Now i play Alot of TF2 over 2000 hours And I use my real name as my online ID (Zoey)
And of course i get the Blah blah blah Your a Fat guy Acting like a girl And i never respond to people when they ask me my Gender But i wanna know how you feel if you get better by a girl gamer and know it's a "Girl" For sure.
And usually When i beat people they try and add me and Kiss my arse F**k sake i know real life girls are scary but jeez :3

Now logically my honor would take a beating, but then I'd probably see them as a rival, someone to compare myself to that'll motivate me to get better. Of course that's only if they return to the same server, if not I just focus them the rest of the game with the cheapest class so I feel better :3

No no not more or less caring just Curious Because i get quite a bit of feed back from beating people "Denial/Anger/Confusion" And you should try TF2 if your a PC gamer it's a good game if ya find a server ya can enjoy <3

Hasn't happened to me that I'm aware of.
The only girl I know for certain was a girl is my girlfriend, and she's not very good at games. Even so, I don't play multiplayer much.
I'd probably take it the same as being beat by a guy, if I had to guess.

I get my arse handed to me by a few female players on Mount & Blade: Warband all the time. Doesn't bother me, why would it? It's but a game to play for enjoyment, nothing more. If a guy gets pissed off over being defeated by a female, he has some pretty big issues to work out.

My friend (who is a girl) kicks my ass at fighting games all the time and I've been beaten at Mario Kart by my brother's wife a few times.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I've never understood the whole "GURLS CAN'T PLAY GAMEZZZZ!" mentality anyway. They're still people like us, just lacking a penis.

Doesn't bother me. A person is a person, I don't see how their gender would make them better/worse at a video game. I know back when I played Battlefield 1942, if my friend (who was female) got into a plane, it was all over. On foot, I could always kill her first.

As for shooters. I started playing Planetside 2 yesterday and it's my first time in an online shooter since 1999 (Unreal Tournament) and i've died ..... lots.

I have no doubt in my mind that some of those deaths were from lasses.

It doesn't bother me.

I'm 32 years old. If getting my boxers in a twist over women was still an issue then i'd be seriously fucked.

My wife beats me on DPS in any MMO we've played, i'm better than her at healing.

I've never actually been beaten by a girl (that I know of) but I imagine I wouldn't be any more upset than if I'd lost to a guy. It'd actually be kind of cool to lose to a girl since I've never (knowingly) played against a girl who was good at games. I know they exist though and I'm sure there are plenty of girls that could beat me and probably have beaten me.

In my many hours spent playing TF2, there's been quite a lot of girls in the servers I frequent. A few servers in particular have handfulls of girls playing on them at any given time.

I honestly can't ever remember an instance of someone getting mad because a girl killed them. Perhaps I play on the more "friendly" servers, as the atmosphere is usually light-hearted. Of course people still get mad when stupid crap or shit teams happen, but not because a girl killed them.

It's never really been unusual for me to play with or against girls across the many games I've played in my time. I treat the game no differently. If you're on my team, then we must work together to win. If you're on the other team, then expect no quarter and no mercy. We're all here to play and have fun after all.

Plenty of girls in RL that could wipe the floor with my nerdy atrophied ass. I'm sure there quite a few girl gamers who are better than me too.

I wouldn't care, might be annoyed that I lost because I HATE losing at anything, but gender is meaningless to me (mostly meaningless. anyway. I'm still as hardwired to react in certain ways to girls as the next male person, as much as I dislike that.)

Actually...the thought of gender playing a role in our reaction to winning/losing is more annoying to me.

OMG a gurl who rawks at videogames, wanna come to Dairy Queen with me?


Thankfully I'm neither American nor that guy. Only Dairy Queen I've ever been too was in China. I think the last time I lost to a girl online was when playing Soul Calibur 4, I remember it because she was cracking actual good-quality jokes the entire time so it was fun, not for the fact that her voice was octaves higher than mine and she lacked a Y-chromosome.

Once my friend and I ran into a player on Halo Reach with a gamertag of PrincessTwilight or something. In addition, his/her voice sounded very feminine. Then we jumped into the game and, it turns out, she was really really good, so the entire game was running away from her unless we had a distinct shot advantage.
