How do you think your parents would react if they went through your internet browsing history?

For fun, we should all publish our Internet History in a google document and link it on facebook. It will be one big happy learning experience.

OT: They would learn of my exaggerated appreciation for gore.

Luckily, my firefox doesn't record my history, so I don't have anything to worry about. However, if they somehow saw it, then I guess they'd be really quite shocked.

Also, they don't understand how to access History, so I'm really not worried.

Although I have never had browsing history on, I suppose it is still possible for them to see it.

If they did, I imagine my Dad would tell me to go get laid laid and my Mom would just be like "What is "Guro?" or "Furries?" I am confused"

Like many others, I opt for both the "Have Internet Explorer and Firefox on desktop, but really use Chrome" and the "Flush the evidence Clear History" approach.

Now my Google history...

"Ok, let's see what my son searches...'How to deal with annoying neighbors', 'Poisonous substances for dogs', 'Burying witnesses', 'Forging documents'....'bout time someone shut that effing dog up."

Meh, there wouldn't be much to talk about. They'd find my roleplaying message board, tons of Minecraft videos on YouTube, regular visits to the Slendyblogs and Slendyvlogs, and regular trips on DeviantArt.

They *might* question my Google Image Search history, though, but not that much. I've got my own slice of daily weirdness. That's all I'll say on the subject.

Most of my daytime surfing involves The Escapist or university databases.

As my history isn't saved. They wouldn't find anything. If they wanted to know why it's always deleted I will just say it's my business. They are not the kind of people to spy on me.

I think all of the google, youtube, escapist, pony websites would bury the porn websites a bit. There is probably about 2000 website visits for every porn website so I think I'd be safe.

(Hoping they don't use CTRl+F)

My computer does not save history.
If it did then I'd be embarrassed...not for the obvious reasons though.
A lot of weird Youtube vids...and Ponies stuff in there.

Father: Son?
Son: Yes, father?
Father: Are you gay?
Son: Father, why would you spout such words‽
Father: Why are you watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?
Son: I was.. I
Father: Son... Give me a brohoof!

And that would be the day that I bonded with my father.

..If such a thing were to actually happen, I would face awkward discussions with him however regarding my many many porn filled webpages.

Completely unsurprised. Actually they might be surprised that my browsing history isn't 75% porn now that I think about it.

This has actually happened to me and I forgot to clear my history. 50 pages of pornhub came up and guess what my mum said...
"Teenagers will be teenagers, I guess."
She then clicked on the things I was watching and checked how long I was on each page...she then said I was fussy with what porn I watch...

Awkward.
